FAQ’S

Washington County Kids (WCK), a nonprofit organization that works to increase funding and support for out-of-school-time programs that enable success for children and youth in Washington County.

No one knows the full extent of kids served and more importantly not served by afterschool programs. By compiling a demographic survey of school aged participants currently in afterschool programs, we can use this information in vital ways across the county:
1) Determine who is being served and be able to report by programs, ages, ethnicity, gender and geography.
2) Determine need of those NOT being served by comparing our survey with existing population data.
3) Utilize the information to obtain funding both for WCK and partner organization collaborations from individual, foundation, and government sources.

Afterschool providers are sending this survey request to each parent or guardian in their program school. All information is anonymous and confidential with no individual name(s) or other reporting completed or disclosed.

We are collecting responses through March 1, 2024, in order to have reports compiled by March 15, 2024.
