Make your own Lemon Drop cocktail (or mocktail) at home with Bryan from Drop Shop Distillery and guests Katie and Chuck Riley

Make your own Lemon Drop at home to enjoy during our Reach for the Stars Gala on August 5th, 7-8 pm. We’ll kick off our virtual event with this Cocktail-Making Demonstration. Just gather the following ingredients before the event and make yours along with us!
Supplies list (for two drinks):
- 2 cocktail glasses
- 1 cocktail shaker
- 8 oz. ice
- 1 bottle Limoncello (for Mocktail: substitute Club Soda and cane sugar)
- 2 lemons
- simple syrup (make ahead: see recipe below)

Recipes (double recipe for two drinks)
Lemon Drop Cocktail
- 2 oz. vodka
- 1 oz. Limoncello
- 1 oz. fresh-squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 oz. simple syrup
Lemon Drop Mocktail
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1 oz simple syrup
- 2.5 oz club soda, chilled
- ice
- cane sugar (for the rim)
Simple Syrup (1 part sugar, 1 part water)
Bring sugar and water to a boil. Simmer until all sugar is dissolved (about 3 minutes). Let cool completely. You can refrigerate your simple syrup in a glass jar for up to one month.
