Safe and Healthy Screen Time in the Digital Age — Rachel Su 

Description: In this workshop, we will present some ideas to have a safe and healthy screen time.

The WCK Parent Speaker Series are free presentations designed to provide useful information, tips, and tools for parents/guardians of children K-12.

Each one-hour session begins with an informative and informal presentation by our professional speakers and allows adequate time for participants to ask questions.

Sessions are provided at no cost to registered participants Sessions are scheduled throughout March until April 5th, from 6:30-7:30 PM PST (session recordings will be available)

Sessions will have Spanish translations

Presenter Bio: Rachel Su currently works with WCK, and contributes to many areas related to children’s educational and developmental institutions. With her BS in computing and knowledge of Career Development in Childhood care and Education she has earned from CCRC, Oregon Department of Human Services Child Welfare, NW Regional Education Service District and Parenting Hub, she will help guardians understand the disadvantages of excessive screen time and how can you take advantage of the new technology for positive goals. Through this workshop, you can gain tools for helping you build appropriate screen time with your digital-age kids.
