Being a Trauma Informed Parent– Corissa Mazurkiewicz

Description: In this workshop, we will present some ways to help your child if they experience trauma

The WCK Parent Speaker Series are free presentations designed to provide useful information, tips, and tools for parents/guardians of children K-12.

Each one-hour session begins with an informative and informal presentation by our professional speakers and allows adequate time for participants to ask questions.

Sessions are provided at no cost to registered participants Sessions are scheduled throughout March until April 5th, from 6:30-7:30 PM PST (session recordings will be available)

Sessions will have Spanish translations

Presenter Bio: Corissa Mazurkiewicz is a Term Assistant Professor in the School of Learning and Teaching at Pacific University. A contemplative, anti racism educator, she believes education must support the growth and development of mind, body, and spirit. Her scholarship focuses on the intersections of decolonization, social- environmental justice, trauma, wellbeing, and mindfulness.
