History of Afterschool

This video of the history of afterschool also talks about current issues and the future of afterschool.

In 2018 Meyer Memorial Trust supported a series of Community Conversations and an online survey for parents and guardians.  Their responses documented their experiences with obtaining and using early childhood, afterschool, and summer care for their kids and youth.  WCK produced the 2019 “Imperative to Act” report and “Executive Summary” reviewing research on the topic, outlining the results of parent and guardian experiences, and making recommendations for further action.:
